Photoshop was previously used only by the photographers and the image technicians,but now a common man who has a bit knowledge about the computer can work on Photoshop to picturise his/her dream in the best manner.At times after capturing a still in a normal digital cam,you may not get the best image you wished,then the Photoshop factor comes into play,there are certain techniques which would enhance the quality for your image to give a dramatic change to your image.
To start with you must be familiar with some of the tools in Photoshop.
Let us have a glance on some of them...

1.Move tool:
The move tool is used t move images from one tab to the another.it is a usual arrow button which resembles the mouse.
2.marquee tool:
The rectangular marquee tool is used to select a certain region in the image.On right clicking the marquee tool,you can find several other options which are used for selection.
3.Lasso tool:
Lasso tool is also a selection tool which is used to select as for the users intention.it select the path as the user moves the tool. On right clicking the lasso tool,one can find the polygon and the magnetic tool which has several other features.
4.Quick selection tool:
It is used to select a certain region which has same colour or brightness.it a more simple tool for selection.it can be used by draging the tool around the specified region.On right clicking the tool,you can switch to the magic wand tool.
5.Crop tool:
It is used to resize the image by cropping it.
6.Eyedropper tool:
It is basically used to pick the colours from your image.The colour selection made by tool would appear in the foreground color panel.
7.Healing brush tool:
Its an amazing tool from the developers of photoshop,which is extremely useful in editing portraits to remove marks and color differences on the face.
